With the Democrats losing control of the House in January.
The Republican's will initiate their agenda of their Pledge
to America. They laid out a plan to cut spending and reduce
the size of government by: cancelling unspent stimulus funds,
cutting government spending to pre-stimulus, pre-bailout
levels, establishing a hard cap on new discretionary spending,
cutting Congress' budget and holding weekly votes on spending
cuts. On January 5th, the new majority will begin moving forward
to delivery their pledge.
